A visit to Schäfer!
Situated directly below our apartments sits Kaufhaus Schäfer – a 1,700 square meter department store set over three floors.
From linen to fresh bread, South Tyrolean delicacies and souvenirs to Danish pots and pans, haberdashery, arts and crafts equipment, craft beer – as per the motto of the shop, you really will find “Everything Within”.
The shop dates back over 150years, progressing from family traders to one of the largest shops in South Tyrol. Run with love, care and huge attention to detail the family tradition continues to this present day with sisters, Michaela and Martina Schäfer.
Having grown up in the shop, even learning to count using apples, their passion, knowledge and eye for detail is visible throughout the store.
